Yuuma has enough VCV samples with complete Whisper bank in his current downloadable package. I can’t give 10 because the voice isn’t exactly the quality what I’m looking for. Same reason with Matsudappoiyo and Nazucki. Aside from that, I’m satisfied with current Yuuma. There are some scratchy and glitchy samples. It’s like “FINALLY!” after a long time.Īs Sekiya stated, Yuuma is not fully released yet hence his voicebank imperfection. Maybe you can say it’s beta version. When Sekiya uploaded his demo, I wasn’t in frustration to find a decent male voicebank however, that fleeting feels of receiving a pinch of light in the darkness came again. Yuuma is a newcomer, he was released 4 days ago, in 29 November 2015. I did some minor changes in his oto because he sounded a bit off. For me, the CHAOS one fully represents his voice and character.ĩ5% well done-oto. There are enough variety of voicebanks you can choose. Nazucki covers basic voicebanks, CV and VCV. I can’t give 10 because the voice isn’t exactly the quality what I’m looking. Aside from that, Nazucki sounds very amazing in high notes without ruining his image. The problem is there are some scratchy and glitchy samples. As Victor Von Drew stated, he was recorded in studio and has almost the same quality with Matsudappoiyo. In those dark times, Nazucki was my light. I found Nazucki in the middle of browsing in Utau Wiki. Before I found Nazucki I was so desperate to find another decent male voicebank. While Vikotoro might be the official nickname, Nazucki is easier to pronounce for me. I’m still not sure what to call him, Vikotoro or Nazucki. Vikotoro Nazucki | ヴィコトロ・ナズツキ Packaged Artwork in Voicebank This is one of the reasons I don’t often use him. There are no extended voicebanks, only regular VCV. I can’t give higher point because the voice isn’t exactly the quality what I’m looking.

You might want to add some flags in some keys, but it’s not always necessary. Yet, just as similar as Matsudappoiyo, the joy of smooth tuning and rendering without any flags and specific resampler exists here. I have never encountered any glitch, however it’s just sometimes he sounds weird in some keys. Not much information that I got about him. Even though I don’t use him as often as Matsudappoiyo, he’s still one of the best male voicebanks I have ever tried. I didn’t really notice him until Matsuda made a cover of him. Ron is the fourth male UTAU I downloaded. Keine Ron | 京音ロン Artwork by Matsuda Mattsun You would never need to change anything in his oto. There were no missing basic samples in his banks.ġ00% well done-oto. There were so many types of voicebank you could choose. Matsudappoiyo covered basic voicebanks, CV and VCV. I can’t give 10 because the voice isn’t exactly the quality what I’m looking for yet the irony is I haven’t found what I’m looking until now.

If you have ever tried him then you would know the joy of smooth tuning and rendering without any flags and specific resampler. I’m probably biased because of my pure love however I have been using him for years and tried all of his voicebanks, never I found a glitch in his voicebank.

Matsudappoiyo has very good voice samples. Matsudappoiyo has been discontinued and access to his voicebanks is also closed. I constantly use him for covers with and without other UTAU. I fell in love with him in the first sight, or maybe in the first heard. Matsudappoiyo is the first male UTAU I downloaded. Honestly, most male voicebanks I found sound like a male trying to sing like a girl however Matsudappoiyo, Ron, Nazucki, and Yuuma don’t sound like that for me. I love their voicebanks because they don’t sound too heavy, the voice samples quality is great, and multi pitch banks are available. The first three are old UTAU while Yuuma is a newcomer. My favourite male UTAU are Matsudappoiyo, Keine Ron, Vikotoro Nazucki, and Sekiga Yuuma. But, let’s skip about that since you can read all about them in the links above. I haven’t tried any other type of voicebanks since I don’t like using the quality in between CV and VCV. I have quite experience using basic voicebanks: CV and VCV.

I don’t use Mac so I don’t keep up with the updates.īack to the program itself, UTAU is one of alternatives to VOCALOID and it’s a freeware. I think Ameya is focusing for UTAU Synth, UTAU program for Macintosh now.

The program for Windows hasn’t been updated again by some reasons since November 2013. You can read more about it in its wiki, wikipedia, and Ameya’s blog. Okay, this might be my first official entry and I want to share my favourite male UTAU.įirst of all, UTAU is a singing synthesizer (or I should say sound extractor) application created by Ameya.
